Landscape Plans

What is a landscape plan? Typical requirements of an appropriately detailed Landscape Plan will generally include:

  • Site survey of existing vegetation conditions (including botanical names of plants)
  • General details including:
    • Properly scaled drawing (i.e. 1:100)
    • Property boundaries (Including details of boundary fencing etc.)
    • Existing buildings on site
    • Details of any easements & services
  • Details of the proposed planting and landscape design including
    • Proposed vegetation/planting
    • Planting schedule (Including both botanical & common names)
    • Quantity & location of each plant species
    • Plant heights & widths at maturity
    • Paving material and sizes
Generally speaking, Council will not issue a statement of compliance prior to the subdivision landscaping works on the endorsed landscaping plan being undertaken to their satisfaction.
